FAQ

Regular dental exams can help prevent serious issues from developing in the future. By catching any problems early, your dentist can apply effective treatments that can save you time, money and discomfort in the long run. Additionally, regular dental exams can help you maintain good oral hygiene practices and keep your teeth looking their best. By making regular visits to the dentist, you are helping ensure that your teeth remain strong and healthy for years to come.

Generally speaking, adults should have a new patient dental exam at least twice a year; however, if you have any existing oral health problems or risk factors that increase the need for more frequent exams, your dentist may recommend that you come in more often.

The extraction procedure typically takes between 15-30 minutes, depending on the complexity of the case.

After a dental extraction, you may experience some minor bleeding and swelling which should resolve in a few days with proper care. You may also experience some discomfort, but this should also subside with time.
